The Nucleus is the brain of the cell and consists of four internal structures: Nucleolus, Nuclear Envelope, and Chromatin.
The Nucleolus is the ball-shaped structure inside the nucleus. This nonmenbraneous organelle is involved in ribosome production.
The Nuclear Envelope is the double membrane which encloses the nucleus.
Chromatin is the inner material, yellow in the diagram, consisting of DNA and a large portion of proteins.
